This is the art FASA comissioned for their unsuccessful foray into the
Japanese tabletop gaming market. Ironically, they could not use their
original Japanese artwork because they did not have the right to release it in
Japan. In general, the artwork is much more intricate than it would be in the
non-Japanese releases, although it does look odd. Either way, the Japanese
were used to fast agile (Macross/Gundam) mechs, not big lumbering tanks with
legs and stayed away from the game.
New! I've located the counter sheets for these mechs. The sheets are
about 500k each. Print them out on cardstock and you can play with them in an
actual game. If only someone made Pewter figures...
